What does resonance actually mean?
Let’s not hold this as a question to be answered, but as something to be entered.
Resonance is not merely a vibration, though it expresses as such. Resonance is a co-creation. A co-gestation. The subtle “yes” of one field recognizing another. Not in sameness, but mutual coherence. Connection within differentiation.
I have noticed a palpable shift in my lived-experience since I began focusing on so-called problems as being perceptual. Even if they are already fully physically manifested (since they are still perceptions, still sensations.) The shift deepened as I added a new thought downloaded from my deeper self upon request: My only work is my inner resonance.
There is something so keen about asking for a new thought, giving that request space, and receiving it.

The feeling is of flying, soaring. Of delicate strands of rainbow light trailing in the wake of my soul's wings. Of my heart expanding. What once was a cup, overflowing to find its edges revealed as illusion. Of joy - a joy that is a dancing, pure exhilaration and celebration. And also, a tenderness. A homecoming. Slow, sweet steps through a quiet forest, with green moss, dappled light, and the sacred presence of uncountable life all around, aware.

A spaciousness where the illusion of separation dissolves, and what remains is interbeing, presence, and movement without clinging.
Words words words. Words are doorways into feeling.

For a while I really liked and used the word alignment. I still think it conveys meaning of great value, but resonance…this is a word I can feel immediately. It’s fair to point out that we can resonate with anything, so this is where alignment is important. I want to be centered in myself. Clearly connected with my deeper self, with my multidimensional field of being. In alignment we discover our natural resonance. Out of alignment, we discover a whole variety of other flavors. There’s a discernment process we have the opportunity to participate in. Knowing we can choose the flavor. Choose the tone, the song. This is the sweet spot. The honey comb that keeps flowing nectar.

The essence of sacred artistry is an allowing. Not an effort, but a listening. Not as possession, but as companionship with the unseen.
This ancient art is practiced by all masters and awakening beings from the beginningless begining of original remembering. In this Now, we ride the through-line issuing from the core of the origin. Surrendering to a deeper rhythm, we maintain our agency. We feel it in the body: alignment, rightness, arrival.

Continuing the remarkable pattern of co-creation within a resonant field, I find myself again reading what I have been planning to write, what is percolating within.
"Resonance is not merely a vibration, though it expresses as such. Resonance is a co-creation. A co-gestation. The subtle “yes” of one field recognizing another. Not in sameness, but mutual coherence. Connection within differentiation."
I might need to quote you on that. Mutual coherence, connection within differentiation.
On alignment and resonance...
I write, I think, by sensing resonance with words and meanings within myself, so I will share the feelings behind these words for me.
I don't feel that I can resonate with anything. I can *try*. I can open, listen, attune myself, but for me the experience of resonance is a feedback, sometimes a surprise - like tapping on all of the bowls and glasses in the kitchen to find the ones that sing out, that harmonize.
I also find myself using resonance more than alignment, and for me alignment is shallower, more singular. I can feel alignment with an idea, a movement. I can experiment, choose to align myself in a certain way to see how it feels. Resonance is multidimensional - a hundred or a thousand alignments felt together as we enter into a harmony whose ultimate orchestration is collective, beyond our individual selves and yet co-creatively including us, our own notes and improvisations adding to the symphony.
